Infant Gaviscon making things worse

Hi. Hs anyones babies been prescribed Infant Gaviscon only for their periods of crying and pain to get worse?
Tempted to cut it out of bottles and wait for the doctor to phone for a review Monday and say it's worsening her screaming and discomfort my little girl is in. She can scream for hours 😭

Yes we have had the same issue. I stopped giving it as it was just making everything worse!

It takes a while to work and it often isn't enough to stop the reflux. You might need omperazole too although this can also make things worse in the short term as the body tries to fight the meds and increases the amount of acid or produces.

Have you considered cmpa too?
