Epilepsy neurologist

Hi - my son has epilepsy and has been seizure free for 15 months. His consultant wanted him off Epilim so he reduced that and he’s been off it 3’weeks and had 2 seizures yesterday. They’ve increased his Lamotrigine but I’m seeing there’s so many treatments and options out there.

can anyone recommend a private neurologist in London or Birmingham that could help?

Hi I have seen a few different paediatric neurologists in London for my son - not for epilepsy. I would definitely recommend Dr Antonia Clarke on Harley st. She was excellent.

Perhaps as an alternative you might want to try the private neurology team at Great Ormond St.

My son used to see Dr Maria Kinali. Was a few years ago but I think she is still practicing privately in London.

She was very personable, supportive and communicative.
