Hi all, my 12 year old son has glue ear. He had grommets as a child but over the last year has had glue ear a couple of times. It resolved itself last time after around 3 months but unfortunately he has it again and we are due to fly next week. I'm worried about him flying with glue ear and wanted to know if anyone else's child has flown with glue ear / blocked ears and what they did to help them? I know he'll have some pain and discomfort and will give him some painkillers. I'm concerned about damage to his ear. I'll call the doctor tomorrow but just wanted to hear from anyone with a similar experience. Thank you!
