Hi,

I have a 2 week old who’s been in the hospital 4 nights so far with bronchiolitis and positive for rsv was wondering what everyone’s recovery time and hospital time with this?

baby is still on oxygen they have turned it loads down now, they do turn it off and she’s fine when awake but asleep it dips to 88. She was being tube fed but now is currently taking bottles every 2 hours. Temp has been fine and bp.

So sorry your baby has this. Mine had it too when he was about the same age and he was in ICU with it. I think he recovered after a couple of weeks but I'm not sure if not in ICU. When mine have been in for asthma attacks, they want to make sure they can go a certain period of time without oxygen and salbutamol.
I imagine they would probably wean him onto an inhaler once off oxygen but won't let her home until she can go 4 hours (I think) without needing an inhaler.
