Chicken pox or something else?

DS1 came down with a cold about a week or so ago, DS2 a few days later and ne a few days after that.

They both still have snotty noses/cough. DS1 developed a spot on his leg last night and a further two this morning that looks like the could be chicken pox?

DS2 now has a spot on his back not sure if they can catch it and show this quick?

I never had pox as a child but paid for the vaccine a few months ago when it broke out in their school. I have been really rough with whatever virus they did give me with Temos of nearly 40.

Anyone think these look like chicken pox?

I have zero experience with it. I left a message with the school this morning saying I thought it might be chicken pox and would update tomorrow?

It does look like it could be. Usually you start off with one spot and then get more quite quickly spread over the body and face.

Are you able to take the pictures to a chemist to let the pharmacist look at them they are not very clear in the photos or look on Google images for pictures of the rash.
If it is chicken pox it is very contagious and they shouldn't be going anywhere until the last spot scabs over. My 3 had it at the same time.

Yeah I've looked on the NHS website at the pics. It looks very similar. I think Mumsnet looses some of the photo quality when it's uploaded tbh as it looks way clearer in the actual pictures on my phone
