Vomiting small amounts but not ill

Ds5 is 10. Over the last week or so he has been vomiting small amounts (like quarter or half a mug full). He seemed a bit poorly with it last week so we kept him off school. But this evening it happened again. He seems absolutely fine, been singing justin Timberlake and now started on call me maybe! He is autistic and doesn't sleep very well.

His brother was diagnosed with rumination syndrome with the same symptoms after some distressing tests to rule out other things so I'm wondering if it could be that. Ds is also upset that I'm going with DS1 to a uni open day this week so it could be psychological.

Any ideas?

DD vomits if she gets really constipated ,thankfully we’ll controlled with medication now so unusual, but also from tiredness, stress or over excitement. For example she was sick on her fifth birthday and after a dance show. Food she’s not sure about will often make her gag or vomit, as will things like a fly buzzing around her inside.
