Hi,
My son had chickenpox last year. One of the spots was very large and it has left him with 6 spider veins coming from where the spot was. GP said there's nothing I can do but I think they are spreading and I'm really worried. Has anyone experienced this? Any info would be greatly appreciated

Some children have more Vascularity near the surface of their skin. This is why some kids have red birthmarks etc. The chicken pox injury has probably injured his skin and broken some capillaries. You can get spider veins lasered privately. There’s a few clinics that treat children.

Thanks for your reply. Yes I have heard of laser but I don't want to go down that route since he's so young. I was hoping there might be some cream or some product I could use on them to help them fade. He has noticed them now and gets quite upset about them

There’s no topical product you could use sadly.
