13 month old not doing any gestures

Hi, my child is not doing any gestures, clapping, waving, pointing etc. I have been doing it loads and he just isn’t picking them up. Should I be concerned?

Honestly, I have no idea. My daughter is autistic and she didn't do these things until she was taught them. And even then it took quite a while, and still not consistent at almost 4. My son, who is allistic, was a little later with waving, but was pointing and clapping by 7/8 months. But that's just my experience.

What does he do? what does he like? How does he tell you yes or no

He’s crawling and learning to stand. He likes spinning toys and loves pushing his vehicles around the room. He does respond to his name most of the time but his communication is poor.

Ask hv to refer for assessment or see if there is a SLT drop in
Check hearing and eyesight
Do makaton signs hand over hand for more . eat etc see if he picks it up
