I’m praying this isn’t a bed bug. I have seen a few on the carpets and a couple on a teddy or two which has been on the floor. Some have been tiny and orange and then I have seen this one recently

Does not look at all like a bedbug to me. Not sure what it is but not a bedbug.

Zorya · 06/06/2024 23:04

Could it be a tick? Do you have pets?

Chrle98 · 06/06/2024 23:06

No it’s so weird we don’t have any pets

Looks like a tick.

That does look like a tick

Zorya · 06/06/2024 23:09

Could try a reverse image search on Google?

Whoknowswhatanymore · 06/06/2024 23:12

Definitely looks like a tick, which is a concern if you have no pets…well it would be a concern if you did to be honest! They are awful insects and can carry Lyme disease. Please read up on them
in case they are ticks. Hope you get it sorted! 🤞🏻

That is a tick. It’s come in from outside, possibly on clothing. Have your kids been playing in long grass? That one has bitten someone because it’s fat.

The little orange things are clover mites, they’re totally harmless, they eat plants and don’t bite. They’ve come in from outside, you can just wipe them up.

The red arrow points to where reverse image search is on Google.

Thank you everyone! Will try this. It’s a relief to know it’s not bed bugs as I’ve heard they’re a nightmare to get rid off

It’s coming up with every beetle under the sun😅

At First I thought it was a silverfish, but looking closely I would say its a tick. Be grateful its not a bed bug because they are pretty much impossible to get rid of, advised not to buy second hand material household items (mattress, sofa) etc for this reason.
