HFM horrific pain from blisters and ulcers in the mouth

Is there anything that can help to cope with the awful blisters on feet, hands and in the mouth? The child is in agony.

I'm terrified myself as two years ago I had it so badly that literally lost my nails and was crying of pain every night. We are bound to all have it again, right?

Paracetamol and ibuprofen and whatever the chemist advises for their age for the mouth - I think difflam spray is ok. If you get it again, difflam mouthwash is really good (but only suitable for over 13 years old). You need use it for the full 2 minutes.

And non acidic ice lollies can help with staying hydrated - citrus ones may sting or irritate the mouth.
