Hi everyone, just looking for some advice or to see if anyone’s baby has had a rash similar to this, baby boy is 6 weeks old and has had this rash on face for the past few days, it comes up more after bf and sleeping on the side that’s warm, HV said it’s heat rash, I’m not convinced, waiting on GP appointment but just wanting to hear from other mums! Thank you

How is he fed? Wondering if it could be an allergy.

Baby acne?

@GreenFairies he is BF, I have cut right down on dairy as I thought that’s what it could be as well!

@PuttingDownRoots thank you for you’re response! he had baby acne a couple of weeks ago but it seemed to be more individual white headed spots, I just felt like this looked more like a rash

Absolutely nothing to worry about. Hard to see clearly from the picture but is either infantile acne or a simple dribble rash. Needs nothing doing to it and will go away on its own.

DD's baby acne looked similar to this. Are you breastfeeding? I found using breastmilk on her face helped to clear it up and reduce the redness.

I found that sweet almond oil was amazing on rashes like this with my babies, you could literally watch it fading before your eyes, and the difference when used on wind-chapped little faces is amazing. You can buy on eg Amazon, cheap as chips and so gentle and soothing for delicate skin.
