Should we go to the GP

Trying to decide what to do about DS whose 7.

Yesterday he came out in spots that look a lot like chicken pox. He also has a cough, but is feeling generally ok.

Normally I know the advice is just to keep them home until scabbed and no doctor needed… but…

We’re already waiting for a hospital appointment for another health issue (excessive thirst and peeing but diabetes tests clear)

and he’s been vaccinated against chicken pox (both doses) AND had a mild case 18 months ago after a known exposure.

No known exposure for this case and it seems a bit worse that last time though still mild.

Is it worth a call to 111 or an online appointment with GP?

FWIW my children had chicken pox twice! 🙄

I don’t think I can say don’t take him/do take him. I didn’t take mine to the GP when they had chicken pox. Maybe it would have been worse if he hadn’t had the vaccine.
