Hello,
My 15 month old (13 months corrected as she was born at 30 weeks) has a cold and cough which I know isn't unusual, but she also has this badly mottled skin. She's had a temp for a few days at its worst it was at 40, we've been bringing it down with calpol and ibuprofen.
I know mottling can happen when they're cold, but with the temp she obviously isn't cold but her hands and feet have been cold and she's all pale and mottled.
She's okay in herself, a bit wingey but she's happy to play etc.
I keep going to ring 111 but then I'm questioning if I'm being dramatic, would you ring 111? Or just make a GP appointment for tomorrow?
Thanks! Pictures attached

Cold hands and feet and mottling, I would definitely ring the GP or 111

I wouldn’t, if she’s generally ok. Have you given her a little massage/rub to help the circulation?

Thats what my skin looks like when it’s a bit chilly. It’s to do with being very fair skinned.

111 definitely. Don't mess about when your child displays sepsis symptoms. More than likely it isn't sepsis, but you need a medical professional to take that view.

I'd call 111, if it turns out to be nothing to worry about at least you checked rather than not calling and it being something. Hope she's ok
