Hi all, just went to change my 2 year old and noticed these spots on DS. They’re located at the top of his bottom(just under where the top of his nappy would sit.) He’s not got any anywhere else, he’s well within himself and they also don’t feel raised. He is quite a sweaty child so unsure if these are more heat related.
I’ll attach a pic for reference.

If they turn into fluid filled blisters then yes it could be CP. If they don't then it isn't

Could be. When mine had hand foot and mouth the spots were mostly in this area and looked similar.

You can ask at pharmacy.
My DCs pox started that way. Rang GP and they just sent me to pharmacy to check where it was confirmed. I also bought some syrup to keep itch down and foam and liquid to put on spots to dry them faster.

Good luck and let ice cream be your friend (many cannot eat dry/chewy food as blisters develop inside the mouth).
