Hi has anyone found a nappy rash cream that works? Currently using metanium but it's doing naff all and been using it for a couple of weeks? Do the doctors prescribe something better does anyone know?

I swear by just standard Sudocrem

Metanium worked for us in times of severe rash but the Weleda cream was good for an every day cream

The yellow metanium always worked for us.

Doesn't help my son and just turns him yellow

If the heavier duty over the counter stuff isn't working then there might be a yeast infection. Worth chatting to pharmacist/GP (not sure if pharmacist will offer anti fungal to baby)

If you doing lots of naked time, only using water to clean and the thinest layer of metanium then it maybe be a fungal infection.

Definitely visit the doctor to see if it’s fungal, in the meantime give them plenty of air and only wash with water.

Sudacrem. I wouldn't use anything else.
