DD8 has had this birthmark / light mole (think that’s what it is) since as long as I can remember. It’s flat, pale brown coloured and over the last year or so it’s grown some hair so it’s almost becoming part of her eyebrows. Not itchy /
sore/rasied etc. she doesn’t even notice it but I’m worried someone will comment on it as they all get older and start being meaner about looks etc so I’d like to be armed with knowledge if she does ask me about treatment to remove it. I heard some older girls sniggering at it in the corner shop making what I can only describe lightly put racist undertones- I wanted to have a firm word (understatement) but didn’t want to make a big deal as she hadn’t heard it☹️
The hair would be Easy to wax I guess but the actual mark? Basic google tells me it would be laser surgery and that’s hard to do near the eye area. Any ideas/ experience? I’m loathe to take her to the gp as I don’t want her to think something is wrong, but I also know know how long wait lists are for dermatology and I don’t want her to turn around in 2 years saying she’d like it removed to then face a 2 year
