What's this rash - red spots?

Hello, I'm stumped, I will be taking my older daughter to the Dr's next week, in the mean time does anyone know what this rash is? It is very red, raised, not itchy.

She's had molluscum contagiosum before, 2 years ago, and thought they were coming back do treated them, but tbh it doesn't look completely like molluscum. She's had them for about 3 weeks, and normally by now I know what it is with years of experience being a mum of 2 children with various rashes/eczema in the other child! I have attached a photo from 3 weeks ago and today.

Thank you in advance

Impetigo?

The second one does look a bit like this, but I think that's my fault for treating it with molloscum treatment! Now I've stopped it's gone back to being like the initial picture (flatter, raised but dry...no oozing, they've never oozed, just looked a bit wet on photo from sudocreme I put on!) Thanks for replying though :-)

Are the spots sore? Could it be shingles? My dc had shingles at 12yo.

Another vote for shingles x

My 5 Ur old daughter has just been diagnosed with shingles. Looked a lot like this a week ago and is now much worse.

Thanks ladies, yes they did look a bit like shingles I agree! But now they have almost gone, mystery. I hope all your little ones are ok now too.

Hi mums,
My 1.5 month year old has got these spots. Any idea what these could be? I am really worried. Doctor said it is just viral, but they are sooo many spots now both on back and front and head, they are itchy too. Please advise. Thank you soo much in advance

I don't think there is anything to worry about. Hard to tell from the photos but they could be chicken pox, or bites perhaps. In either case as long as your child isn't actively unwell there really is no need to worry.

I would however take down one of your photos. It's not a great idea to put pictures of your child's bottom on the internet IMO.
