Chicken pox or molloscum?

My toddler started with a cold yesterday, slightly clingy but seems okay in himself. Then today I’ve noticed about 5 spots, a few on top of his arm and a couple on his tummy. Really unsure… any help would be appreciated, thank you

My children have chickpox at the minute and the spots are much redder and the blisters look clear on my children. Hope this helps

Thats not chicken pox.

That's molluscum - my DS was covered in it for 18months - awful stuff.

The first photo definitely looks like molluscum. Real pain to shift it and it scars!

Molluscum. The only way we got rid of DDs was by picking one of the spots. She'd left them alone the whole time - over a year - and I thought enough is enough we need to get rid of them and a Mumsnet search told me what to do (pick it basically). Went away straight after.
