Big bushy eyebrows

I am aware that I sound insane and I asked on this before but I’m really worried about my daughter she’s 16 months old and has quite big hairy eyebrows. While scrolling tiktok I keep seeing videos of peoples kids being diagnosed with genetic disorders due to their children having big eyebrows

If you are that anxious then go to the doctor and don’t look at TikTok.
Her brows look fine to me.

Her eyebrows look perfectly normal and in proportion to me. Do you have anxiety about other issues? Might be helpful to discuss that with the doc when you have your appointment too.

I genuinly can’t work out if this is serious or not! They are lovely fair eyebrows? What condition are fuller eyebrows associated with if there aren’t any other symptoms? I’m not trying to be rude I’m just genuinely amazed!

Hey eyebrows are lovely!
My sons eyebrows are bigger and bushier if that settles your mind! I think they're beautiful 😍

TheYearOfSmallThings · 17/05/2024 12:31

Her eyebrows aren't bushy at all. You should see my kid - now he is a future werewolf!

Chewbecca · 17/05/2024 12:41

It's your anxiety. Please get help and don't pass it on to your lovely daughter.

DirtyDensDog · 17/05/2024 12:44

Honestly, they are totally fine. It really is a non issue so please stop worrying yourself. Sorry that you have this anxiety.

mynameiscalypso · 17/05/2024 12:52

They are totally normal eyebrows.

TheNameIsDickDarlington · 17/05/2024 13:07

Those are very normal baby eyebrows, the bishy eyebrows associated with things like Cornelina De Lange and San Fillippo syndrome (which is what im assuming youre concerened about) are very dark, very thick, just a totally different look to your babies brows, also there are other symptoms and... looks (I know that's not the right word but I'm drawing a blank on it) that you'd notice rather than just the brows alone.

In my area there are baby and toddler groups specifically for mums with mental health struggles, primarily PND and PNA. Maybe see if there's anything like that near you as I really benefitted from going there when my children where young

I won’t pass it to my daughter I don’t even say this stuff out loud I just internally drive myself crazy I’m trying to get help.. I just needed some reassurance I’m sorry

They look absolutely perfect and normal.

Precipice · 17/05/2024 13:22

She has completely normal eyebrows. Your perception of eyebrows has perhaps been warped by overexposure to pluckers. You should also avoid posting (most of) your child's face online to a public forum.

typicaltuesdaynight · 17/05/2024 13:29

I had eyebrows like that as a baby and I can assure you they are totally normal o don't have any conditions with have my kids a d they were the same

You poor thing ☹️for what it’s worth my daughter has waaaay bushier eyebrows than your one’s! Your daughter
looks beautiful 💞anxiety sucks xx

They look totally normal.

Look, no one goes on TikTok or posts a blog etc to say "I had an odd looking thing on my body and it was totally normal". They only go on to say "... and it was the 0.00000001% case where it turned out to be something".
That makes rare things seem common.

Keep off the internet for medical things if you have anxiety. You can convince yourself that you have everything except housemaid's knee before you've clicked "shut down".
