Have you studied child development/psychology?

I would really like to read some academic books on child development and psychology.

Ideally some that are currently used for degree and postgraduate level study.

I want to understand broadly typical child development.

If you can suggest any titles I'd be very grateful.

Some recommended ones:

Gavin Bremner and Alan Slater: An Introduction to Developmental Psychology, 3rd Edition; Wiley, 2017.

Usha Goswami: Cognitive Development and Cognitive Neuroscience: The Learning Brain, 2nd edition; Routledge, 2019

Peter K. Smith, Helen Cowie and Mark Blades: Understanding Children's Development, 6th Edition; Wiley, 2015.
