Help and advice needed on babies breathing

Hello,

I'm in desperate need of some help and advice.

im a first time mum to a 4 month old. Just after his 8 week jabs he got a really bad cold for the first time. He was very congested and had a bit of a cough. This basically never went away!

since then he has got better on and off cough eased off and snotty nose but then came back again but throughout the whole 2 months he has been very wheezy especially when he’s doing tummy time or gets excited.

ive taken him to the gp about 7 times now in that time and they keep saying his lungs are clear and it will clear up by itself but 2 months is a long time and it’s effecting him being able to stay on his front for long periods now.

he’s such a happy little boy and is hitting all his milestones but I feel so bad seeing him constantly wheezing.

has anybody had anything similar??

Have you tried videoing him and showing it to the GPs?

@LovelyDayInnit i have nearly every time I’ve been and they just say it’s from him getting over these colds and his lungs are clear so just have to wait it out 🤷🏻‍♀️
