sweat rash/heat rash

hi all!

so my baby has had these little bumps on her arms and there’s some at her neck and in her hair, i’m assuming it’s because it’s been quite warm where we are. i’ve been trying to keep her cool, always in just a vest, however she will only contact nap so her top half gets quite sweaty! i’ve also been bathing her but with it continuing being warm for the next week or so i don’t want to bathe her too much and aggravate her eczema. i was just wondering if people agree it looks like sweat rash, and if there’s anything i can do to help her? she doesn’t seem too fussed about it tho still a happy baby just a bit grumpy it’s hot

Look more like midge bites or hives to me. I have eczema and always coming out with bumps like these. Sweating sometimes seems to have a reaction with whatever clothes are washed with so just checking your not using fabric conditioner or anything strongly perfumed. I have to use non biological unscented laundry liquids. M & S do a reasonably priced one.

@Mossstitch ah thank you! i don’t use anything very scented or anything since her skin is quite sensitive with her eczema, im just not sure how to help get rid of the spots i feel so bad and it doesn’t seem like something to go to the gp about either. i’ll have a look at the unscented stuff for her clothes too :)
