DD (13) had her finger shut in a toilet door at school on Friday quite hard. She said when she tried to pull her hand out she also twisted knuckle. It was swollen on Friday and was strapped up at school and iced. DD is saying it still hurting. It doesn't look swollen and it's not bruised or a funny shape, just tender when touching it and feels 'stiff' and a little different and she says it hurts to move it. It's also be knocked about at school today. DD is autistic so very hard to gauge exactly what she is feeling but I don't think it's really bad iyswim.

It's been strapped, iced and she has had painkillers and we have been treating it like a sprain/minor injury as even if broken I thought they would only just strap it anyway. But I'm now starting to doubt myself, is it worth getting it seem/xrayed or are we doing the right thing already?
