My son has had this small lump on his forehead for a few weeks now. Anybody know what it might be? Thanks.

Looks like a whitehead?

I thought that initially but would that last 2 weeks?

Could it be a milia, they can take a while to go away.

WearyAuldWumman · 03/05/2024 23:04

It might. I think that they can sometimes develop into cysts. My husband once had to have a large cyst removed from his forehead.

Aha. I'm wrong. Might not be a whitehead. Have a look at this. This might explain what happened with my husband: https://www.verywellhealth.com/description-of-millia-15572

Do you think he needs to see a Dr for this?

Well I guess i’d probably watch it for a few weeks, and then go to gp if it changed at all.
(of course if it was on my own face, I’d get a needle and have a poke about).
