MMR reaction

DD was fine for first few days but since 7 days post jab she has had a fever and cry’s all day, wakes up crying, naps not really happening, just generally miserable.

I know that reactions are normal at around this time, how long should I expect them to last?

Calpol and neurofen bring down the temp a little but nothing seems to make her stop crying or help her sleep.

What makes you think it is a reaction and not a non related illness?

@TeenDivided Hi there the doctor told me to expect symptoms 7-10 days after jab so it seems to fit but I guess could be unrelated.

Most likely a reaction to the measles bit of the MMR. With mine it lasted several days...but still better than measles!! If in doubt or you're worried get the GP to check her over.

Both times my daughter has had her MMR she got the measles symptoms on day 7 but a couple of days she was back to normal. She had chicken pox at the same time as her 1st MMR but didn't have any symptoms that were overly concerning. She was under the hospital due to reactions to previous vaccines
