Overactive bladder - oxybutylin

Hi,
My daughter turns 6 in June and has just been prescribed oxybutylin for an over active bladder. I’ve gone down a Google hole 🤦🏻‍♀️ and found lots of people reporting it caused severe mood swings/bad moods in their children as well as constipation. I feel awful giving her a medication that could cause such side effects but equally, want to help her with her current bladder problems. Any oxybutylin success stories or am I right to be wary?
Thanks x

Hi, yes my DS is on oxybutynin. Recently started. We were made aware of all the potential side effects such as personality changes and were advised to stop it straight away if he showed any of the side effects. Nothing has happened and it’s really helped.

I was a bit nervous but reassured by our urology team.
