My child had a suspected urine infection, pain when urinating and a fever of 40 degrees. The gp tested the urine and it showed just white cells but because of the symptoms was prescribed antibiotics and sent for urinalysis. Now finished the antibiotics but child is extremely lethargic with no other symptoms. The results showed red blood cells but no bacterial growth and gp requested to repeat test in a few weeks. Should I be worried or does it just sound like a standard UTI?
