Rash - What is this?

My little girl (3 years old) has a rash all on her body. She started getting a rash over a month ago on the top of her legs and the nurse thought it was her molluscum again (she had it at the back of her legs for the last 1.5 years). Then over a week ago she had a cluster rash on her knees and has spread last weekend all over her legs, lower arms, towards the feet and sparsely on her back, tummy, face. When she got the cluster rash on her knees it was itchy and then hasn't been since at all itchy. She has had a cough on and off for the last 2 months and a runny nose a couple of weeks ago.

Since then she has had two doctors who are unsure of what it could be one potentially thinks it's hot tub rash (folliculitis) and the other said chicken pox. She has since been put on antibiotics and fucidin cream which seems not to be working and her rash has spread. I have been told if it doesn't go away to come back in a week or two.

Has anyone child had this rash or can work out what this is? Could it be either of the above or could it be MFM / measles or something else?

Thank you

Psoriasis?

Just a thought but have you tried giving her some antihistamine? To me, it doesn't look dissimilar to the rashes I got as a child. I was always told they were eczema, more recently someone suggested psoriasis, but the key point was that they were triggered by allergies. Giving the timing, runny nose etc I am wondering if your daughter might have some hayfever.
Worth a try- some piriton won't do her any harm.

Thanks for you responses. I have tried antihistamines and it hasn't worked either. This rash has come on suddenly and quickly does psoriasis do that? Also does it look like chicken pox or not?

My son had a similar rash which the dr said was post viral rash about 3 weeks after having a cold, anti histamines didn’t work either but it probably only lasted 3 days. A month is quite a long time to have it- I was also going to suggest that it ties in hayfever season, perhaps another allergy?

Also it doesnt look like chicken pox in my experience, this looks too hivey
