Would this worry you?
DD7 had scarlet fever 2 weeks ago, 10 days of antibiotic. 2 days after completing the course she’s complained of a sore head
each day that has stopped with calpol, but also complains of feeling very sick a few times a day without vomiting. She’s felt a little warm to the touch but nothing too hot.
is this likely to be a random virus or could the scarlet fever be causing problems? just feels a coincidence to have finished the course but 2
days later develop headaches and nausea. Thank
you in advance

There's no harm in having her seen.

If you've got any sample pots kicking around it might be worth taking the sample with you just because it's easier to do it at home in the comfort of your own bathroom and then they'll be able to dip it straight away at the appointment.

@Smartiesorskittles How are things going?

I’m still confused 😕
saw gp on Friday who admitted he was Confused too which didn’t help my anxiety! He did dip her urine which was clear and said he would be amazed if the strep test comes back + as she finished the course but she is still hot and still has a white coating on her tongue. He said if she’s still hot by middle of the week he’ll send her to hospital for some bloods to investigate further. I’m tired of worrying and nervous at prospect of another week of missing work to watch her (they were already annoyed I needed more time off last week) and im generally just worried about her ☹️
