Is anyone else struggling?

My DD (2.5) has just gotten over strep/scarlet fever and now not two weeks later she's gone down with another illness that the GP has said is viral. Sore throat, cough, temp almost 39 and just generally isn't herself. Before she had SF she seemed to constantly have a snotty nose or something else!

Is it just my area or is it a bad year for it? I swear last year she was only ill once or twice over the whole winter.

I'm tired of going to bed every night feeling scared about having to be up with a poorly toddler half the night again 😫

Hello! I’m going through the same with my daughter who is nearly 2. This is her first winter in nursery so I wasn’t sure if it was due to nursery and or winter!! But yes, she’s been unwell every other week I would say. Normally a virus!! Hope your little one is better soon xx

Dd is 3 but only started going to nursery properly in January, prior to that she just did a few hours a week and playgroups. She’s had x2 lots of tonsillitis, 1 ear infection, 1 uti and a dose of noro virus. Numerous colds as well. Shes been sent to hospital twice for monitoring because her temp was so high. We literally arrived on holiday late last night and an hour after putting her to bed she was whimpering and her temp was 40. She then vomited all over the bed. Think we might pack up and go home.
