My 17 year old is having braces and orthodontist sent x-ray for second opinion after finding a "cyst". The report has now come back and they've said that it has benign features, but he has still been referred for a CT scan and orthodontist has said they may do biopsy or take it out. Can someone tell me Is this routine for "cysts"? I'm worried.
