Teething or something else?

My lb is nearly 26 months old. He has his last 4 molars to cut.

Saturday just gone he was randomly sick in the morning, which surprised me as when he's had a sickness bug before he was off his food, funny nappies. But had neither of these. He was off his food this day.
However yesterday he ate fine, but had an on and off temperature of 37.3-37.6 and his temp usually is around 36.6/36.7..

He was awake in the night as again he had a temp of 37.6, 37.3.. when I gave calpol it stayed the same. But then a couple hours later it's fine again? He has had his hands in his mouth and been grumpier than usual..

Could this be his molars or something else?

He's still eating and drinking and playing so I don't know whether to go to the doctor or not tbh? As he's boarderline even got a temp at the moment.. could his body temp just be elevated due to teething?

I've tried to have a feel but can't really tell..

Thank you

Hi! Just wondering how your LO is now. We have had similar with our 24mo she was sick out of the blue this morning but has been chomping on her fingers and biting on all things so her teeth have been bothering her. Temp is around 37.5/37.7 but she is quite lethargic. I think she has caught a bug but I came across your post and it rang bells! I'm just hoping I don't catch the bug now 😅

We also have evidence of our last molars emerging!
