Disimpaction for three year old, when will it end?!

Our son has been following a disimpaction regime for 6 days, now up to the max dose for his age of 8 Laxido sachets a day.
He is leaking liquidy poo pretty much all day, every 15 mins we are changing his pants. It’s really starting to come out in large volumes, but I was expecting to see lumps of poo come out, has anyone else experienced going straight to the watery stage without any more solid bits?
sorry for all the detail, it’s been a stressful few days!

for info - he has a bit of a fear of pooing on the toilet so we think is constipation has come from withholding. He only likes to go at home. He has probably had this issue for about 9 months on and off, we seem to get on top of it and all of a sudden it’s back again. We had used movicol before but the doctor didn’t explain that we would need to disimpact so as soon as he went tk the toilet we stopped with the sachets! The Eric website has been a godsend.
thanks so much for any advice!

I think it does all turn to liquid. It did for my ds when we finally did the disimpaction protocol properly and kept going with the movicol. He was older and got to 12 sachets.

Keep it up though, this was the beginning of a cure for ds.

Thanks so much! We will keep persevering. Glad to hear it helped your son
