My son is 4. I've been ill withcovid since the weekend. On Sunday my son started with this rash on his feet and hands. Cough, snotty etc... he's tested negative for covid and I thought hand foot and mouth but today it's spread to his tummy a bit too.
Any thoughts? Could get still have covid?

Is it all on the same side of his body? It looks a bit like shingles rash to me.

No it's on both sides. Looks very sore though. I'm checking with the GP too just to be safe.

In that case I’d probably say it is HFM. It’s not uncommon for the rash to spread. It’s just more commonly first spotted on the hands, feet and mouth.

Thank you, Just hoping he doesn't get covid on top of that 🙈

Well his hand and foot is looking quite dry/it hy still. But his tummy has got rougher with it and spots have started in his legs but not blistering. Just pink. He's also got a yellow spot by his mouth. Going to go to the gp tomorrow as its not clearing.
