Ibuprofen dosage

So my DS is suffering terribly with sore inflamed ears and the DR has recommended giving him ibuprofen. He is nearly 11months old and dosage states 2.5ml 3-4 times a day. I was just wondering how many hours in between doses? He had his first dose just before 5pm today.

Is it Paediatric Ibuprofen? I’d go 6 hourly. Has GP examined your child? If not are you sure it’s not an ear infection and may require antibiotics. Just a thought.

@Froniga yeah it is and thanks! Yes he's been examined and they seem very reluctant to give him antibiotics and are saying they believe it is viral for now but just to keep an eye on it!
