My DD is 2 in May and has been coughing non stop for the last 48 hours. I'm not exaggerating when I say it's every 30 seconds and all day and night. She did have a temperature yesterday but hadn't since.
I didn't sleep a wink last night and it's been relentless again today, and I'm heading into another sleepless night. I've tried everything but I'm hoping someone can help me. I feel shaky I'm so exhausted. DD is just as bad, so ratty and her poor body must be aching. I can see she is just as drained as me 😢
I've tried
Propping her cot up
Neurofen/calpol/calcough/tixylix
Saline drops to stop the post nasal drip
Inhaler (she was prescribed one for a similar cough a few weeks ago)
Calpol plug in
Honey
Humidifier (seemed to make it worse)
Fresh air
Seriously nothing is stopping it. Pls help 😭
