Hi all. I posted in parenting but was wondering if anyone could help here please. 4 month old DD came out with a rash/little spots under her chin 2 weeks ago. GP diagnosed dribble rash and advised to apply a greasy ointment 5 times a day. Doing this has made it much worse and it’s spreading. I haven’t put anything on her for 24 hours and it’s looking better, albeit a bit sore. I’m going to the pharmacy today but was wondering if anyone had had a similar experience? I’m thinking a thin layer of sudocrem but I don’t want to dry it out further.
she has lots of chins and I gently pat in between her folds twice a day. I don’t want to assume eczema smd apply something on her skin which makes it worse.
Im at a loss and just want this to go, it doesn’t seem to be bothering her.
