Hi

I was just checking on my child before I went to bed and noticed these on the top of his legs, I'm going to contact my doctor in the morning but just wondered if anyone knows what it could be?

He's been absolutely fine in himself all day

Many thanks for any replies x

Yes I’d say so. I’m not a doctor but I had ringworm that I caught from a child and it looked exactly like that.

Looks like it. The other possibility could be cirrhosis. I have had cirrhosis that was ring shaped it was only when I saw, a, dermatologist she realised it wasn't ringworm.

Looks like it to me- I'm unsure about treatment for children but my early 20's son get this now and again (occupational hazard) and it's easily treated with cream from the chemist.

My DS had marks like these and it turned out to be discoid eczema.

No harm in treating for ringworm (that’s what I did first) but if it doesn’t work maybe try an eczema cream next?

Hope it clears up soon

Thank you everyone

I'll take him to the chemist in the morning and see what they recommend x

A small child won't have cirrhosis!
