Fever and tiredness

Had to pick DS5 up from school today as he was complaining of headaches and school said he was "sleepy and just not himself" - seemed fine at drop off

He's been up and down all day since, almost normal at times wanting to play etc but then suddenly exhausted and drowsy. eaten a bit but not as much as usual - most of his lunch and less than half of his tea, snacks of fruit and biscuits. Had water all day and a fruit juice, been going to the loo as usual (including an almost inhuman massive poo Blush)

He's had a fever which seems to have been managed by calpol, been 38.1 but then back down to just over 37 after a dose.

So his main symptoms have been a headache, tummy ache, and bouts of intense sleepyness, also before bed he had a random coughing fit (not coughed before that all day) which made him cry as he said it hurt his chest. Do I need to worry? I'm watching him sleep now and I do suffer from health anxiety so potentially blowing up for little reason

Sounds like he’s coming down with something. Keep up the Calpol/ibuprofen over the weekend, encourage fluids - ice lollies are good, and see how he is on Monday.
