Hello!

Six year old has a snotty nose, bit of a temp which I've been treating with calpol and generally well in himself (not running round as much as usual but seems ok).

He had a rash on his body and back yesterday which has now gone but his cheeks are pink. Is this Slapped Cheek?

Could be. Or scarlet fever, does he have a sore throat?

He's not complained of a sore throat and I've just had a look and it's not red

Does it feel rough like sandpaper?
If so it's more likely to be Scarlet fever.
Check tongue also - usually red with dots on
