Coughing since December!!!!

Help I am going slightly insane
My six year old son has been coughing since December non stop. He's had anti biotics twice for a chest infection and whilst that's cleared he's still coughing like nothing I've ever know and the Drs don't seem fussed at all.

I am concerned for him and also my sanity!!! It's now stopping him having a normal life three months of coughing missing swimming lessons the odd days off school.

Has anyone else had this this year?

Iam sure I heard it on the radio called the 90 day cough.
My LO has been the same, me too infact but it has eventually cleared up for us..
Is he on any vitamins to give him that boost?

Thanks for replying totally losing my sanity, I will dose up the vitamins. We've tried everything antibiotics inhalers antihistamines the works nothing is shifting it.

Its very common at the moment - there is whooping cough around too, which is also called the 100 day cough....
