Hi has anyone got experience with umbilical granuloma which is a red lump inside the cord after a month leaking yellow and brown fluid

nhs leaflets advice salt treatment however Gp has prescribed antibiotic cream but that’s not treating the wetness

if you used the cream how many days did you use it and do you need to wash the belly button between applications ? How best to dry it if washed ?

and did you still need salt treatment after to dry the granuloma out ?

The antibiotics should treat the ooze, but will not shrink the granuloma. You'd need to do the salt treatment afterwards (which has a pretty good rate of success).
