I’ve been having trouble with my son’s rash for over a week now and keep getting told it’s eczema, however everything I’ve tried for eczema isn’t working and it’s just getting worse. Does anyone have advice on what it looks like or what I could do? The photos attached show the progression over a week … gps keep telling me it’s eczema

Is it just one side? Looks almost like hives. What age is he? Have you tried an antihistamine?

Yeah started off as a tiny mark then spread like that, been giving him piriton etc for anti allergy and all sorts of eczema cream but nothing is helping

I think it’s pityritis rosacea actually.
it starts as one spot (a herald) then spread to mainly the truck.
Ive had this - it’s self limiting. It can take a long time to go but it doesn’t leave scars. It’s usually very itchy.
Have a look online - it’s usually misdiagnosed initially before it starts to spread.
It will disappear magically eventually. It’s one if those weird viral things that’s apparently not contagious.
