What do I do?!

My daughter is 1 and her nail is like falling off? It's ripped right down the bottom and idk what I'm supposed to do?! Cut it off, wrap it until it grows (which will be about 3 weeks) help me?!

Trim it and wrap it. Nothing else you can do?
You can't cut her whole nail off!

I wasn't suggesting to cut her whole nail off lol. I just wasn't sure whether to trim it and how to trim it because it's so far down and it's hurting her when I try and touch it and wasn't sure if it was a good idea to keep it wrapped for near on a month until it's back over the nail as I know it will need to breathe.
