Constant coughing

Hi,

my little girl (3yo) has had a cough everything for the last 2 years give or take. We have tried everything. Calpol plug ins, vapour rub, olbas oil, sleeping propped up!

we have taken her doctors and they have said they do not think it is asthma but can’t tell us why she’s constantly coughing! Which means she isn’t getting a full rest of sleep and in turn we aren’t either!

she’s at the point where she now throws up due to coughing so much😔

does anyone have any advice they can recommend as we just don’t know what else to do!😔

Could it be reflux? My 3 yo can cough all night due to reflux and has to sleep on 4 pillows it's worse when she is ill and then takes weeks and weeks to settle down again

I never thought of that! When she was a baby she was being treated for GERD due to her bringing up her milk all the time!

we’ve tried the pillows but she flips herself in the night (she moves a lot). But might give it another go!

Thank you🫶🏻

We have a pillow at the top and the bottom of the bed under her sheet so if she does move about we don't have far to shimmer her to a pillow when she has wriggled about.

Has she seen a dentist recently? My daughter dentist can see damage to my daughters teeth caused by the acid refluxed
