6 months old baby not rolling back to tummy but met all other milestones

Hi all,

my 6 months old boy is meeting most of the milestones even earlier.
He started rolling tummy to back at 3rd month, he is raising his hands, head, he is pushing himself by hands, he even started crawling few days ago.

Problem is that he is not rolling back to tummy, he did it only 2 times, and that is it.
Whenever we lay him down, he immediately rolls on tummy and crawls, but when he gets tired he is making sound and we need to roll him back manually, he does not do it by himself.

By reading articles, all of them says that baby starts rolling back to tummy first, and tummy to back later, but in our case is opposite.

Anyone had similar case?

You say he's crawling so I wouldn't be interested in the slightest about rolling anymore. He's found a more efficient way to get to where he wants to be

They don't have to hit every milestone according to a schedule. As long as the trend is positive, then I wouldn't worry. He sounds fine to me but if you are worried why not speak to your HV or GP?

Mine could crawl, pull up and cruise before she rolled, in any direction. She just didn't like rolling. She was in no way delayed; I wish I had not worried about all those early milestones and their order, it robbed me of some enjoyment of her babyhood.

This is a complete non-issue. Please don’t worry.
