Just a virus or would you worry?

My son aged 9 has been unwell since Friday when he started to feel nauseous. Since then he's been nauseous the whole time but not actually thrown up, got a cough and had a headache on and off. He's also not really eating because he's been feeling sick. Went to GP on Monday who said just viral don't worry.
But it's been 5 days now and he's still feeling nauseous. And last night he woke up and was totally delirious. Freaking out and not making any sense, absolutely covered in sweat but normal temp. Today he's been ok but still nauseous and off his food.
Also his twin has a rash which I assumed was heat rash - because it looks like that - no other symptoms. I didnt realise this when we went to the doctor so didn't mention that.
Should I try and get him seen again? Or do you think it DOES just sound like a normal virus and nothing to worry about? I have no idea. Thank you

Hi Op, IMO, I would want him seen again. Are there any other cases of children in his school / class with these symptoms? Have you tested for covid, just to rule it out?

Thanks for answering. Yes we tested twice for COVID and negative. It does seem a bit worrying and not just a run of the mill virus to me.
