Raised ALT in my baby?

Hi -

my baby has had 3x blood tests with slightly raised ALT. I’m trying not to Google before the Dr comes back to me with next steps but has anyone had any experience of this before?

I know viruses can raise the ALT (as they told me after #1) and she hasn’t been 100% for any of the blood tests (the 1st test was done because she was in hospital with a virus!) although I don’t want to assume it is that!

She’s 7 months old if that makes any difference.

If she hasnt been 100% whilst having the blood test it may just be that. The infection is causing a slightly raised ALT.

It's reassuring in a way that it's slightly elevated and progressing upwards. Honestly, I would try and not worry, stop looking online because there are several several causes of raised ALT (infection being common) and just wait to see the doctor again.
