My toddler will drink a good 2l on a bad day, in turn this means she wees like a horse & very often will wake up piss wet through. Spoke to the gp about it earlier on & she said the kid has always drank a lot, but I’m concerned about how much it’s been recently.

Any input/suggestions/wise words?

Hi, my partner is T1D and was diagnosed as a child… albeit a long time ago now! When he was diagnosed he had lost a lot of weight and remembers having a sweet smelling breath (I think it’s typically likened to pear drops). But losing a lot of weight and an unquenchable thirst were the big signs. Has your little one had any other symptoms?
