I’m just after some advice…. Our son (4) was referred to ENT for large tonsils back in March last year, he mouth breathes and has never slept well.
fast forward to the appointment, they take one look and say that they will take out tonsils and adenoids, they also did a hearing test and found a loss of 30-45 decibels (and his ear drums weren’t quite vibrating how they should) so want to put grommets in too for glue ear. We had never noticed any hearing issues so this really shocked us, he doesn’t have a speech delay but does have his 4 year old quirks speech wise I guess, nursery haven’t picked anything up and say he’s bright…
does anyone have any experience with this?
